Will the start-up fee be charged despite cancelling my vehicle booking?

No. The start-up fee is charged only after you start your drive or after the expiry of the first free of charge 5 minutes before starting up the engine.

When can I choose the “For 24h or longer” offer?

The “For 24h or longer” offer is a good solution not only when you plan a longer drive, e.g. to another city, but also when you need a car for a few hours. At the time of rental, a selected offer cannot be changed.

If I want to have a lower night parking rate, do I have to make my booking after 11:00 p.m.?

It does not matter when you make your booking. A lower parking rate is charged automatically from Monday to Sunday, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., so when you start your rental before 11:00 p.m., and you start parking after 11:00 p.m., a lower parking rate will be charged.

I locked the car while sitting inside, but after getting off, the driver’s door is opened.

In this situation, you should rent a car again, all the doors will be opened, and then cancel your booking within 5 minutes, in this way you will be able to close the car correctly and your rental will be free of charge.

Where can I finish my rental and park the car?

The area within which you can leave Traficar is marked in the app. But it must be located in the free of charge parking zone or in the urban zone of charged parking – except for a zone assigned by means of the resolution of the municipality (e.g. for privileged vehicles only) and in places allowed for parking only at specific hours. Remember that this location should enable the safe parking of the vehicle in accordance with the traffic law. It is forbidden to terminate your rental with a car parked in the private, underground, charged or free of charge car park belonging to a private person, municipality, company or store. Remember that the car must be within the range of a mobile network and GPS.

How can I book a car at Traficar?

In order to book a vehicle, activate Traficar app on your telephone with Android, iOS or Huawei with HMS services and go to the map view. If a geo-localisation service is enabled, the map will be zoomed-in to show the nearest vicinity. In the map, search for the nearest car marked with the T pin, then click the T pin and you will see the exact location of the car and its fuel level, and you will be able to book this vehicle by choosing a rental type you want to use. You can also click the navigation icon in the app map to find the nearest car quickly. Ready. Your Traficar is waiting for you.

How will the fee for using Traficar be collected?

You can use Traficar vehicles only after registering a valid payment card, with a Visa or MasterCard logo, in your account. The fees for driving will be pre-authorised (blocked) on a current basis in the rental term. A link to the pre-authorisation regulations is provided below.

Remember to have the unblocked Internet, telephone and correspondence transactions, and to ensure proper funds for this type of transactions on your card. Your card should be valid for at least 31 days. You should also pay attention to daily limits on your card which may cause problems with payment collection. Most banks enable the management of limits and transactions in the Internet service or in the mobile app.

How are fees charged at Traficar?

At Traficar you pay only for the kilometres you cover and you pay a one-off start-up fee. There are no subscription fees, registration fees or fees for holding an account.

The price list is available in the payments tab at the website and in the app.

I cannot log into my account. I receive the “Invalid login or password” message, what should I do?

This message is displayed when you provide an invalid password for your account or an invalid e-mail address. Check whether the e-mail address you provided is valid. You can reset your account password by switching to the “Log in” tab in the app, and then “I forgot the password”. This message may be also displayed if you have not clicked the activation link sent by us in an e-mail. Check whether our e-mail message has not landed in the SPAM folder. The activation link is valid for 24 hours. You can generate a new activation link at the website by going to the “Account activation” tab, and then to the “Re-send the activation link” tab.

How to register the account in the service?

In order to become Traficar service user, download the app for a mobile telephone with Android, iOS or Huawei system with HMS services. Prepare your driving licence, payment card (Visa or MasterCard). In the registration process, we will also ask you for verifying your data by means of your bank account. Click “Create Account”, provide your personal data required in the form (first and last name, place of residence, e-mail address, telephone number, series and number of driving licence).

The app will ask you for taking the photo of the first page of your driving licence and for making a verification transfer from your bank. Remember to click the activation link which you received in your e-mail box. If you carried out all the activities correctly, your account will be active within several minutes.
