No. The start fee is only charged when you start driving or after the first free 5 minutes before you start the engine. The amount of PLN 10 or a one-off daily fee (pre-authorisation), depending on your chosen offer, will be released after cancellation and will increase the balance on your account (pre-authorisation of funds). The blocking of funds does not imply their withdrawal, and their release is not the same as their return to your account, so you will not see any income on your account; however, your account balance will increase by the amount of the blocked pre-authorisation fee.

It does not matter when you make your booking. A lower parking rate is charged automatically from Monday to Sunday, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., so when you start your rental before 11:00 p.m., and you start parking after 11:00 p.m., a lower parking rate will be charged.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to book any additional equipment, including a child’s seat.

If you use Traficar vehicle and the engine is on, we charge a fee for the kilometres covered. Whereas, a parking fee is charged when you park the car, switch the ignition off and do not terminate your rental. A parking fee will be charged from the moment of switching the ignition off in the vehicle.

Parking fees are included in the price for parking in urban pay zones in cities where Traficar operates. Note that this does not apply to zones designated by a city council resolution (e.g. only for emergency vehicles) and locations where parking is only permitted at certain times.

Fuel is included in the price of the service. No fuel charges are incurred. Remember, you can refuel your Traficar yourself. To do so, generate a PIN in the app by clicking on the fuel pump sign visible on the right side of the map before refuelling at an Orlen station. You can refuel the car only when the fuel level is below 30%, you have driven at least 1 km during this rental and you have paid all charges due to Traficar. Remember, the PIN is valid for 20 minutes.

Parking rates are calculated automatically and the value depends on the hour of parking. Between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., the parking rate is PLN 0.30 for each commenced minute of parking, and between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., it is PLN 0.01 for each commenced minute of parking.

Yes. The fee is charged in advance for each commenced 24-hour period. The “For 24h or longer” offer is a good solution not only if you are planning a longer route, e.g. to another city, but also if you need a car for a few hours. You cannot change the selected Offer during the rental

If you choose the “For 24h or longer” offer, then the daily fee will be charged automatically after the start of the second and each commenced 24-hour period. If you choose “For as long as you want” offer, the daily fee will not be charged automatically. You will always be billed according to the offer you selected.

In order to use Traficar cars, you must link a valid payment card with a Visa or Mastercard logo to your account. The travel fees will be pre-authorised (blocked) on an ongoing basis during the rental period. The rules for pre-authorising funds on your payment card can be found here.Remember that you must have internet, telephone and correspondence transactions unlocked and ensure that there are sufficient funds for these types of transactions on your card. Your card should be valid for a minimum of 31 days. You should also pay attention to the daily limits on your card, which can also cause problems with payment collection. Most banks allow you to manage your limits and transactions on their website or in their mobile app. Having an active, linked voucher in the Traficar app in the Promotions – Discounts tab does not exempt you from linking your payment card to the Traficar service. Any blocked funds (pre-authorisations) for rental will be blocked on your linked payment card. The voucher will only be honoured at the end of your rental. Don’t worry, all blocked funds will be released or if the rental amount was more than the value of the voucher we will refund you the difference.

In the “For as long as you want” offer, the start-up fee is a one-off. For the “For 24h or longer” offer, the start-up (daily) fee is calculated for each commenced 24-hour period.

No, Traficar account registration is free.
