Can I make the verification transfer from my spouse’s or parent’s account?

For successful bank verification you must use a personal bank account of which you are the owner.

For what purpose is the verification transfer required? How does this process look like?

Bank account verification is required to confirm your identity. When you register for the service and wish to verify your details, you give permission to an external partner to verify your identity on your bank account on our behalf and provide this information to the Traficar application (openbanking). This solution allows you to use the Traficar service because we are certain that you are exactly the person you claim to be on the registration form.

I would like to share this service with a few employees or family members. Can I register one joint login and provide it to a few people?

Unfortunately, one login may be used only by one person. Each family member should sign-up for the service individually. If you want to share this service with a few employees, e-mail to: umowaramowa@traficar.pl . We will prepare a special offer for you.

I cannot log into my account. I receive the “Invalid login or password” message, what should I do?

This message is displayed if you enter an incorrect account password or an incorrect email address. Please verify that the email address you have entered is correct. You can reset your account password by going to the “Log In” tab in the app and then clicking “I forgot the password”. This message may also appear if you have not yet clicked the activation link we sent you in an email message. If you don’t see the message, check the SPAM folder. The activation link is valid for 24 hours. You can generate a new activation link on the website here by going to the “Account activation” tab and then clicking “Resend the activation link”.

How is registration made at Traficar?

To become a Traficar user, download the app to your Android, iOS or Huawei phone. Prepare your driving licence and payment card (Visa or MasterCard). In the registration process you have to complete six steps:

1. Create an account – provide your first name, last name, email address, phone number and a password that you will use to log in to the Traficar service.
2. Accept the terms and conditions of the service and, if you wish, marketing consents in order to enjoy promotions and discounts.
3. Click the activation link – the link will be sent to the email address you provided in step 1. If you don’t see the email with the link, check the “SPAM”, “Offers” and “Others” tabs. The link is valid for 24 hours after it has been sent by our system. You can generate an activation link again at traficar.com/activation/.
4. Fill in your personal details – provide your personal details, contact details and your driving licence number together with a photo of the first page of the document.
5. Verify your details with your bank account – it is important that the details you provide in the app are consistent with the details of the bank account holder.
6. Add a payment card – to pay for your current travels using the Traficar service. You may have more than one card linked to your account. Linking a payment card to your account is not synonymous with verifying your details in your bank.

We will let you know when your account is fully active.

Remember! If you do not add a payment card, your account may be activated but you will still not be able to rent a car! Adding a payment card is mandatory if you want to use our fleet.

Which documents are necessary for signing-up for Traficar service?

Prepare a valid driving licence which is acceptable in Poland. During your registration, you will be asked for providing your personal data which are placed on the above mentioned document. If you are a foreigner, you will also need a passport. In the event of foreigners from outside the European Union, Great Britain and Schengen Zone, a residence card will be required. In addition, the app will ask you for taking the photo of the first page of your driving licence. Such a photo is required for verifying your data and it is deleted right after your account activation.

Can I assign a payment card of someone else to my account at Traficar?

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to add to your account a payment card which is registered for a different person. You should register Visa or MasterCard payment card issued for your first and last name.

Which payment cards can I assign to Traficar service?

All Visa and Mastercard payment cards are accepted. Remember to unlock internet, telephone and correspondence transactions, ensure that you have sufficient funds and set an appropriate volume and amount limit for these types of transactions on your card. Remember! Your card must be valid for a minimum of 31 days.

Do I have to provide my payment card details when signing-up at Traficar?

Yes, you must provide payment card details. Your payment card details will be necessary at the time of booking and the rental itself. You can register for the service without providing a payment card, but you will only be able to rent a car once your card has been added to the Traficar app.
